Children’s Panadol® is not recommended for infants under 1 month. Do not give more than 4 doses in one day or within any 24-hour period. Do not exceed the recommended dose for your child. Do not use for more than 48 hours at a time except on medical advice.
Can you give a 2 week old baby paracetamol?
Do not give paracetamol to babies younger than 2 months old, unless it is prescribed by a doctor. Check with your doctor or pharmacist before giving your child paracetamol if they: are small for their age, as a lower dose may be better.

Does Panadol make baby sleep?
Babies often seem to sleep better than usual during these times, which might explain why some parents keep giving doses when they won’t sleep. But it doesn’t really work. Paracetamol has no effect on sleep whatsoever. It’s safe, but not useful.
At what temperature should you give your baby Panadol?
A temperature of over 38°C indicates a fever. Fever in babies can be a sign of serious illness or infection. If your child is 3 months or under and has a fever of 38°C or above, or if your child seems very sick, they need to be seen by a doctor as soon as possible.
Does Panadol have side effects?
